In this installment we’ll continue our look at the Internet as a source of work from home ideas and opportunities, and we’ll also check out several excellent ones in detail.
Are there legitimate work from home ideas on the Internet?
Absolutely! Yes, there are worthless products and scams too - plenty of them. But you just need to know what to look for, do your research, and choose wisely.
Personally I’ve purchased many products and downloaded many free ones, and I’ve learned things of value from almost all of them.
However, what I’ve discovered is that while many of them indeed have good information, there aren’t many that provide all the info you need to start making money online, all in the same package. (There are still some good ones though - we’ll look at several that I highly recommend.)
More is often better!
Using multiple resources is a good thing anyway. By getting your information from different, reputable sources, not only do you gain a broader perspective and more knowledge, you can also spread out your costs. You can buy one or two products to start with, and then invest in additional ones as time goes on.
What I recommend that you do is start with one or two “anchor” products/systems that contain what you need to get your business up and running, and then continue to invest in additional ones to keep expanding your base of knowledge, tools and resources.
That way, you build your business on a solid foundation, and then continue to enhance your business’s growth and profits. Everyone who is serious about running a successful business knows that it’s vital to continue expanding and updating their business with new knowledge, tools and resources.
Start with the basics.
Let’s start at the beginning. How do you choose work from home opportunities and systems?
The key is to do your research carefully. Rather than starting with a product and then trying to build a business around it, you’re much more likely to succeed if you find areas and niches of high demand/relatively low supply first, and then find or create a product or products that cater to that demand.
Look at your own areas of interest, search out niches within them, and research how much of a demand there is and how well that demand is supplied. The more specific you can be, the more likely you are to find a niche with relatively high demand and low supply.
There are numerous systems, courses and other products that provide you with ways to create businesses in your areas of interest, giving you all the information, tools, resources and step-by-step instructions you need.When you find a product that interests you, search for reviews on these products and their creators, and look for testimonials and positive comments! Consider price too. For example, it’s been my experience that you generally get what you pay for, to a point.
In my personal experience, the business-building products that I’ve found to be most beneficial have been the ones that cost close to $100 and go up from there. But they’ve opened the doors to far more than that in profits, so they’re well worth it.
However, that doesn’t mean you need to (or should) spend thousands of dollars when you’re just starting out! Some of the inexpensive products out there ($50 or less - even free) still provide excellent info and tips - which more than justifies their purchase price.
If you can get some good tips by purchasing a product in the $10-$50 range, or for free by signing up for a mailing list, it’s well worth it.
Then, as you apply the information, systems and tools that the lower-priced products give you, you’ll start earning money - some of which you can invest in further education and tools to help you grow your business and profits at a greater and greater rate!
And when you put it in perspective, the money you’ll spend to start a successful online business is just a fraction of what you’ll spend starting a bricks-and-mortar business, or getting a college or university degree just so you can go to work for someone else!

As you can see, the Internet is the place to start working from home! Nowhere else can you earn so much profit with so little investment. Again, do your research and learn as much as you can.
Use one or two products to help you get started, and then as you start making money you can invest in additional products, resources, tools and more.
Remember - there is no such thing as a free ride, and it does take money to make money. However, with the Internet you can invest very little money and make a lot of money in return! And once your income streams are flowing, they will continue to run with relatively little maintenance on your part!
